At the Twój Uśmiech Dental Center, we help to achieve an even bite and restore chewing comfort – both in children and adults.

Orthodontics is about preventing malocclusion and treating existing irregularities in the dentition with the use of various types of dental appliances. They are individually selected according to the problems and age of the patient.

What does orthodontic treatment help with?

The help of an orthodontist enables the proper development of teeth and the elimination of bite problems in the future. It is support not only in terms of aesthetics, but also health.

Improving the aesthetics of a smile

Orthodontic treatment allows you to take care of the visual attractiveness of the teeth and face. It compensates for deformities caused by improper development of the jaw or teeth.

Prevention of dental diseases

Misalignment of the teeth makes it difficult to clean them thoroughly. In the nooks and crannies, unremoved plaque builds up, which can lead to tooth decay and periodontal disease.

Restoration full chewing comfort

Uneven teeth reduce the functioning of the chewing mechanism. Aligning the bite restores the comfort of eating meals and prevents diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

Even smile in just a few months

At the Twój Uśmiech Dental Center, an orthodontist at the first meeting in the office conducts a consultation: checks the condition of your dentition and then diagnoses what orthodontic problem is there.

The diagnostic process requires taking digital and X-ray images as well as taking dental impressions or scanning the teeth in order to make virtual diagnostic models. This allows for a precise assessment of the problem, i.e. checking the possibility of correcting the defect. If the defect can be corrected, the orthodontist will recommend the appropriate treatment method, i.e. the type of appliance.

At the Twój Uśmiech Dental Center, we also provide treatment with transparent braces in the form of overlays – we work with the Orthero and Invisalign systems. After analyzing your dental problem, your doctor will help you determine which system is best for you.

Invisible dental braces

Overlay braces are an innovative method of treating malocclusion by means of transparent, replaceable aligners adapted to the teeth of a particular patient. Compared to traditional orthodontic treatment, it provides greater comfort of use while maintaining excellent efficiency.

Precise treatment plan

During the first consultation, you will find out which braces are best for you and see what your smile will look like after the treatment. Thanks to a 3D scanner and special software, we will conduct a virtual simulation of the entire treatment process and present the expected end result.

Instant effects

We replace each aligner every 2 weeks, moving the teeth millimeter by millimeter to the right places. The overlays will begin to correct the bite from the very first day of wearing, so that you can enjoy a perfect smile even after a few months!

Discretion and convenience

Transparent aligners are virtually invisible, and the lack of metal elements and made to order makes them really comfortable to wear. Nobody knows you’re undergoing treatment.

Comfort of use

You can remove the aligners yourself and put them back on – you don’t have to change your eating habits, and dental hygiene is as simple as before starting treatment.

Removable appliances for children and teenagers

The child's first control visit to the orthodontist should take place at the age of 5-6, and even earlier if there is a noticeable problem. The dentist will check whether the bite is developing properly and, if necessary, suggest optimal treatment methods. Properly early diagnosis allows you to prevent the formation of deep defects and start bite correction immediately, thus shortening the entire treatment process and preventing irreversible / hardly reversible changes. If the child comes to the office after a developmental jump, it may be too late for non-invasive treatment.

Children up to about 6 years of age (only milk teeth)

there are few treatment options, but at this stage it is worth paying attention and observing:

cross bites, undershot bites;
habits (e.g. lip-blowing), baby swallowing, mouth breathing.

Children around 6-14 years of age (mixed dentition)

we treat children with removable braces:

in the case of dental defects, cross bites, overshot bites, there is a good chance of a significant improvement in the bite if treatment is started at the right time;

monitor for habits (e.g. lip-drawing), baby swallowing, mouth breathing.

Reservation fee

for visits to the Twój Uśmiech Dental Center

A reservation fee of PLN 50 is collected from patients visiting the Center for the first time for visits lasting up to 60 minutes. There is no booking fee for visits lasting less than 15 minutes.

Patients who continue treatment are charged a reservation fee of PLN 100 for visits lasting more than 60 minutes. There is no booking fee for visits lasting less than 60 minutes.

The booking fee is credited towards the remuneration for the treatment performed at the time of the settlement of the visit.
